14-16 Oohh Kamil....

Omigoshhh 2 posts in 1 day? I feel smart (:
Chapter 14:
In this chapter William, Gavin, and a few other people are riding around searching for food when they get attacked by Kamil and other Sacrens. They surround them and kill a few of there men. Kamil goes to attack William but cuts through Gavin's arm instead. Kamil also kills Gavin's horse. He then takes Hosana and rides off. And thats basically all that happens in that chapter but I can tell you this. I don't like Kamil...at all.

Chapter 15:
So after that horse fiasco, we meet up with Kamil.
Kamil has a very bad grudge against the Christians and believes that all of them should be killed.
Kamil becomes friends with a mysterious man named Abdul Raq because Kamil feels that Abdul is the only person agreeing with him. Abdul tells Kamil of a man that would agree with Kamil and think of him as very wise. Kamil wishes to meet this man so Abdul makes arrangements and a few days later Kamil goes to meet with this man.
Kamil meets up with the man, the man tells Kamil to kill Saladin, and the chapter ends.

Chapter 16:
Basically all that happens in this chapter is that Kamil is instructed to take Saladin into the forest with Hosana, let Saladin ride Hosana around and then Saladin would get shot.
But this did not go as planned. When Kamil let Saladin ride Hosana, guns are shot, but not at Saladin but at Abdul.
Kamil learns that Saladin had someone follow Kamil to Abdul's friend and that they knew of the plan. And that ends chapter 16.

My question for you is....
Why do you think Saladin did not trust Kamil and had someone follow him?

  1. I think Saladin made someone follow him because Kamil had resented the truce with the Christians and just to be safe, he had a spy following him.

  2. because Kamil didn't like the idea of a truce and by the way there aren't guns

  3. But didn't Kamil say that Hosanna would die in chapter 16.
