Chapters: 21-25 THE END GUYS OMG THIS IS EXCITING!! :D

Since these are the last chapters, this is gonna get really colorful...
Chapter 21:
This chapter was thankfully REALY SHORT. All that happens is Kamil giving the 10 horses (Including Hosana) to the Christians (Including William) Kamil explains what King Richard wants to do and they agree to fight!

Chapter 22:
This chapter I found to be the. most. epic. chapter.
So the army is lined up. There was a very good descriptive quote in the chapter which I just had to add..."Here, the trumpet that announced the beginning of the games at home would signal the end of men's lives. Who could know what the outsome of the day's slaughter would be? The only certainty was that where men now lived and breathed, corpses would lie." (234) I love this quote because it built up the suspence that we are about to see in the fight. So basically, people die. Both armies are losing people and many try killing both King Richard and Saladin.
King Richard's horse dies so William immediatly hops off Hosana and hands him to King Richard. The King rides off but in an attempt to kill the him, Hosana gets shot with an arrow instead and falls to the ground!

Chapter 23
The whole army just stops, in shock of Hosana falling. Kamil, William, Gavin, and King Richard crowd around the body. Kamil, William, and Gavin begin to pray and Hosana slowly crawls up just enough so they can lift him and get him out of there. Later Hal comes to Saladin and asks him if he could use anything that will help the would. Finally King Richard gives up and gives Hal an ointment that helps Hosana's wound.

Chapter 24:
After the war, Hosana eventually got better and since no one was stopping them, Gavin, William, and Hal, took a journey to and from Jerusalem. After that they leave the land in an endless, boring journey that took up about 10 pages. But they make it back to Hartslove!

Chapter 25: THE LAST ONE
Ellie is alarm when she see's that soliders are entering Hartslove, so she has the guards shut the gates (Because remember, she's not expecting them to come back since de Scabious said they were dead?)
A little while later the Ellie gives in and tells the guards to lower the bridge.
She see's that William and Gavin are back.
From here on, nothing really happens and the book ends.
So, my last question for all of you is....
What do you think of the book and my summarizing for that matter?
I hope ya'll enjoyed the summaries and you may be convinced to read the book yourself, who knows?
Byee Guys!

  1. I think the book was pretty good, but it got sort of boring when the author went on and on for 30 pages at a time about completely random topics.
