this is a title......if you didn't notice....

Okeey so Chapters 6-9 here I gooo...
Chapter 6...THE SAD ONE :'(
In this Chapter, we go ahead 2 years with William and Hosana being as close as ever. Gavin comes back from helping the queen and decides to take a little "hunting trip" with his horse. After brutally working 6 tied horses Gavin is told that no horse is left besides Hosana (whom was supposed to be resting according to William who was giving her a days rest). Ignoring the protests from people, Gavin takes Hosana and rides her...to the ground. See how fox huntin' is dangerous?
Chapter 7:
Because Hosana is so weak, Sir Thomas has William give her to the monks, because they handle the horses more gently. While Hosana is with the Monks, one of the monks finds that very connection that William had with Hosana. That monk becomes attached to Hosana with trying to keep her healthy. Hosana's health improves and the monks decide to take Hosana back to William.
Chapter 8:
This chapter I found to be a little confusing because it went back in time a little. The chapter told a whole different story of a boy named Kamil, who went on the crusade. His parents died earlier so he seeked revenge against the man whom killed his father. I guess this little story was to forshadow that Will and Gavin would be going on the crusade, maybe having go through revenge or something.
Chapter 9:
They go more forward in time and at this point William is 17 and will be going on the crusade with Gavin. Gavin is much older and is a strong knight. He and Ellie must get married because of he being the eldest. So Gavin and Ellie have a quick arranged wedding, even though they claim they don't have feelings for each other. After the wedding though William finds himself to be a wee-bit ermm JeAlOuS.. haha.
So a few days later, Sir Thomas declares that they will go on the crusade the next day. William and Ellie decide to meet in the stables that night to say there goodbyes. William tells Ellie to "'Take care of Sacramenta"' (Grant 96) and they hug (aww <3).
The next day, everyone leaves to go on the crusade.

So that's what happens in those chapters
Your question to answer is.....
Do you think that William's feelings for Ellie will effect him and Gavin while fighting, because Gavin and her are married?
Share your thoughts (:

  1. Question stealing NERD~ haha, and yeah, I do think that Will's feelings for Ellie will effect how he and Gavin treat each other during the crusade because it is pretty obvious that Will has /feelings/ for Ellie and Gavin as already wronged him once. (With Hosanna and the riding and the hunting..)

  2. I infact am not a "question-stealing NERD" Because your blog with the following question about Will's feelings for Ellie was posted on May 15th. But mine was posted on May 11th. Ahaw, you have been defeated by the people of spench.

  4. What's spench???

Anyway, I do think that it will effect the brothers negatively. Maybe William will get a little too jealous and do something stupid. He's the younger brother, it's to be expected.... don't tell James I said that ;)
